Speaker for the Trees, Botanist, medical biochemist and author Dr. Diana Beresford-Kroeger possesses a unique combination of western scientific training and an understanding of the knowledge and methods of a wide variety of traditional and alternative sources. Her books include The Sweetness of a Simple Life, The Global Forest, Arboretum Borealis: A Lifeline of the Planet, Arboretum America: A Philosophy of the Forest, and A Garden for Life. A Forest Journey Revisited

Today, a continuation …

Caroline re-welcomes John Perlin, whose prodigious “A Forest Journey,”  re-published by Patagonia,

is our primary magnetizing pledge incentive for today!

How did we get here? this mega-crisis..
and what shall we do?

How can we humbly receive guidance from the forest re community

To protect what we love, become like it, adapt its qualities…
To protect wolves – become more like wolves
Coyotes – Coyote strategy (I have lived with actual Coyote and Wolf Dog, longer than have lived with humans.
They certainly taught me a thing or two…
all a negotiation for reciprocal evolutionary benefit…)

protect the forest …

Re-Dreaming Humans Cooperating with Nature

Flora Fauna Fungi gives us the task of re-designing the human cultural interface with Nature.

So, Caroline plays Kim Stanley Robinson’s Bioneers 2023 talk – as we are in KPFA Fund Drive, pitching his book  “The High Sierra: A Love Story,” as a magnetizing pledge incentive. Also animating his astrological chart, without the inconvenience of him being present.

Kim Stanley Robinson is a hugely influential American writer of science fiction. He has published 22 novels. Most note-worthy, ”Ministry for the Future,” which many took as a sobering bible of ecological and social catastrophe, (and from whose gloom, he proclaims himself recovered).

The danger remains, as life-long incentive.
