Caroline hosts the fantabulous Karen Brown, with the Etsy World News that we shall co-weave. Mending the world, micro-Venusian economy of hand-made intimacy to rise from compost of hyper yang infantile Mars-war based economies.”the resurrection of community spirit through shared traditions.” Karen Brown is an award-winning designer and creative director of the Center for Ecoliteracy. Her work has been included in the Smithsonian Institution and Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, and featured in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and on Today on NBC. She believes that the handmade movement is a fundamental force for transforming society and the economy.

Caroline and Karen – What a brilliant conversation!
I listened to this as I was sewing up some Solstice gifts for my three daughters. The goddess is alive and well when we hold these beautiful, supportive ideas and bring them into reality.
Caroline – your words and wit resonate so strongly for me. Your show is my go-to for gaining reasonable perspective on the big picture, and it provides me with guidance right down to my closest relationships. (Which try to get my goat… etc)
Trickster training is in my future, for sure!
Bright Blessings!!
With much gratitude from your friend,
Danielle
Listened to this while clearing more space in my yard for Cali native pollinator and other glorious creature food-source plants, and weaving a fresh bamboo fence to protect them as they establish. Thanks so much for the lovely conversation.
