   Dear Caroline: We heard your show for the first time on Christmas Day as we were headed for dinner in Bodega Bay. Christmas is a time when you can feel the deepest of lonely empty feelings when all around you mocks that feeling. So we were pleased and felt let in a door that warmed us when we found your show on the car radio around 2 on Christmas Day. We felt on the inside of every topic you chose to discuss; your views on Ferguson and Michael Brown and the police gave us a larger view on what has been a painful experience-just as Trayvon Martin and Erin Garner. We looked up the play Cops and Robbers at Pacific School of Religion and are planning to attend because he has a comprehensive view on what is happening in an area of deep concern for all of us really. I was a student at PSR, and I am a writer whose passion is to show with compassion the incidences, people and places we ignore, deny or justify, with the intention of our seeing ourselves as active participants and not observers, engaged and not passive, good people willing to do what we can rather than feeling the victim to things “beyond our control-outside our power.”
