We are now post Epiphany, post the 12 days of Christmas. Venus has disappeared from the evening sky. She has gone to her appointment in the underworld. She disappeared January 6-7 and will reappear January 17, when she will become the morning star.

I would like to share a poem I just received that moves me that I just received from Peace Fresno. There are two other poems that while hearing them I become excited and am moved to take action. They are more than just words to me-they are life and breath to movement:

I listened to these lovely woman in person and was enriched, moved and motivated. In fact tears filled my eyes as they spoke on stage last year at a local University. It feels good to be apart of a connection that has similar ethics and common ground. If it is possible and you are so moved maybe you could connect with these dynamic woman and assist one another in the process of social activism and change. Anything is possible.

I too have hoped that my words and or research would be more than just words they would breath life to listeners when I would become vulnerable enough to share my words and or poetry and sometimes it has felt like a fruitless undertaking as a activist. This is where faith and letting go has become part of my journey.
